    Yes. While I am proudly based in Brisbane, I build Excel solutions for any client whether based in Australia or Overseas. All strategy and discovery sessions can easily be conducted via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

  • How do you charge for your development services?

    I primarily operate on a Fixed-Price Project basis. Once we fully map out your requirements, I provide a comprehensive, transparent proposal with a locked-in quote. This ensures you know your exact investment upfront with no hidden hourly surprises. For ongoing minor tweaks or open-ended consulting, I offer flexible hourly rates.

    Do you have a minimum project size?

    Because I cater to both small-to-medium target businesses and individuals seeking personal applications, my project scales vary. Excel automation fixes can often be turned around quickly and affordably. Contact me with your concept, and I will let you know what is achievable.

  • How long does it typically take to build a solution?

    Timelines depend entirely on the complexity of your workflow:

    • Advanced Excel & VBA Solutions: Typically delivered within 2 to 4 weeks.

    I will always provide a firm delivery timeline within your project proposal.

  • Who owns the spreadsheet once it is completed?

    You fully own the finished, operational product, and you will never be locked into a subscription.

    Once the project is finalised and paid for, you receive a perpetual licence to use the Excel system indefinitely across your devices with zero ongoing monthly fees.

    To ensure the long-term reliability of your solution, core formulas and critical backend components are locked. This prevents users from accidentally deleting complex logic, breaking cell references, or altering the engineering framework. However, all data entry zones, input tables, and reporting views remain completely open for your daily operations.

    While the underlying raw source code and structural frameworks remain the intellectual property of Antipodean Software Inceptions, you get absolute operational independence.

    Excel solutions are ready to run out of the box.

  • 1. Definitions

    • "Deliverables" means the final, compiled operational Microsoft Excel spreadsheet workbook(s) supplied to the Client.

    • "Developer Tools & Source Code" means the underlying raw code, source files, VBA/Macro frameworks and locked formulas engineered or utilized by Antipodean Software Inceptions.

     

    2. Grant of License

    Upon receipt of final payment, Antipodean Software Inceptions grants the Client a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual, royalty-free End-User License to install, run, and execute the Deliverables.

    • Subscription-Free: This license does not require ongoing recurring fees, subscriptions, or monthly renewals.

    • Usage Scope: The Client may use the Deliverables across multiple devices or workstations within their own business or personal operations (as per the agreed project scope).

    3. Intellectual Property Ownership

    • Developer Retention: Antipodean Software Inceptions retains sole and exclusive ownership of all right, title, and interest in and to the Developer Tools & Source Code, including all copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.

    • Client Ownership of Data: The Client retains 100% ownership of all business data, personal inputs, records, and information processed or stored within the Deliverables.

     

    4. Integrity and Component Protection

    To protect the engineering integrity of the software and prevent operational system failures:

    • Excel Solutions: Critical structural components, underlying logic, and cell formulas within the Deliverables will be protected and locked.

    Restrictions: The Client shall not—and shall not permit any third party to—decompile, reverse-engineer, modify, or attempt to unlock the core code or protected components of the Deliverables without prior written consent from Antipodean Software Inceptions.
